A linked Quality System
This demonstration illustrates how Making Documents VISIBLE
was applied to a Client's Quality System.
Client's Aims
- To provide an easy and attractive method to help the Client's staff view
their quality system
- To provide intuitive help for staff to find the documents
they need
- To reinforce the idea that Quality System procedures and 'everyday'
documents are linked
- To provide a system that needed a minimum of computer
literacy and made the most of the Client's existing knowledge and software
What it Involved
- Reviewing existing structure of the Quality System on the
Client's server
- Providing a format of logical folders and filenames
- Constructing the linking HTML files
- Handover training
What it was not
- A re-write or revision of the Client's Quality
System.
- The Client's existing system was robust and met their needs
through successful independent audits
